Full Job Description

We have an opportunity for an Early Years Practitioner to join the team at the Kenyngton Manor Primary School starting in September 2026. This role supports the Reception Teachers in enabling all children in the Early Year Foundation Stage (EYFS) to learn and develop by: recognising children as individuals capable of independence; building positive relationships and establishing enabling environments.

You will work as a member of the school team to ensure that all children attending the setting receive high quality care, are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences which meet their individual needs.

Plan and implement daily activities, ensuring that children's needs are met. Provide a safe, creative and appropriate play opportunities - ensuring that all relevant records are maintained. As a qualified applicant you will have attained an approved Early Years Practitioner (level 2 or above) Qualification. Alternatively, if you have appropriate experience of working with children, you could join us as an apprentice and work towards an Early Years qualification within the school., All applicants must be able to provide evidence of their Right to Work in the UK prior to commencement of employment. As part of our need to comply with UK immigration rules, you will be required to provide Home Office stipulated documentation prior to interview.

Monday to Friday, Term-Time only - 31.25 hours/39 weeks

Early Years qualification held: £18,348 per annum (based on working arrangements)

Apprenticeship: £18,041 per annum (based on working arrangements)
