Full Job Description

Our national Real Estate team provides a complete range of legal and advisory services on all aspects of commercial property to an excellent and diverse client base. This role is an opportunity to join an innovative and high performing, busy team in a client facing role. Our focus is on delivering a first-class client service. We advise on a broad range of commercial property work including landlord & tenant; sales & purchases; property management; real estate finance/security; corporate real estate support and cross border real estate support. Our clients range from major retailers, leisure operators, regional developers, funders, renewable energy providers and healthcare providers. We have been involved in a range of projects from multi-million-pound development finance deals to smaller bespoke ventures.

  • Manage own caseload of Real Estate cases
  • Provide support to other members of the team
  • Draft and prepare various real estate documents
  • Liaise with internal and external parties
  • Supervise and develop more junior members of staff as may be required
  • Ensure that work produced is to the highest standard
  • Manage own time effectively
  • Complete MI procedures as and when required
  • Achieve set financial and chargeable targets
  • Ensure relevant deadlines, quality measures and KPIS are adhered to
  • Comply with relevant policies and procedures
  • Work in accordance with Weightmans' values

    Ideally you will have previous experience and a genuine and demonstrable interest in the above area of work. As the role is varied, we are looking for you to have a flexible approach to the work you do and be able to adapt to different tasks. We also require you to have/be;
  • 0-2 years PQE experience is essential/preferred
  • Experience of and familiarity with development and regeneration work is an advantage
  • Excellent team work skills
  • Strong academics and technical knowledge
  • Experience of and keen interest in real estate work
  • Excellent IT and typing skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and targets
  • Flexible approach
