Reablement Care Assistants

As a Reablement Care Assistant, your daily visits will focus on empowering your clients:

• Rebuilding Confidence - patiently encouraging clients to try tasks themselves.
• Mobility & Physiotherapy Support - assisting with transfers, walking, and exercises prescribed by occupational therapists.
• Nutrition & Mealtimes - supporting them to safely prepare their own meals and drinks.
• Medication Management - prompting and guiding them to manage their own medication safely.
• Housekeeping Skills - helping them relearn how to manage light cleaning and laundry.
• Health Monitoring - closely observing progress and reporting improvements or setbacks.
• Social Inclusion - helping them regain the confidence to step back into their community.
• Documentation - logging specific milestones to track their journey to independence.
  
  Driver Essential: A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is strictly required for travel between clients., Hold onto your hats - ideally, you'll have at least 6 months of social care experience to join our merry band of care crusaders!

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential (some clients live in rural areas and need heroes who can reach them).

As part of our Welham Green Reablement team, you will be supporting clients across the following areas:
• Dacorum District (x2 URGENT Vacancies!): Hemel Hempstead, Tring, Berkhamsted, and surrounding villages.
• Hertford & Ware: SG12, SG13, SG14
  
  We believe great work deserves great pay. You will be paid per shift at the following rates:
• £14.20 per hour - Monday to Friday
• £16.00 per hour - Saturday & Sunday
• 30p per mile paid for your travel!
• Guaranteed hours available for the right candidates - giving you the security of regular work!
Shifts - 7 Days a Week
• Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• Evening Shift: 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM
