Full Job Description
To guarantee raw materials and parent reels unloading, storage and handling in compliance with work instructions and safety guideline.,
- Unload incoming goods from the vehicles recording all necessary paperwork
- Carry out visual inspection of all incoming loads to ensure that the load matches the paperwork
- Run quality check of all incoming goods
- Transport goods using proper equipment and efficiently stack and store them in the correct storage bay
- Ensure all required documentation is accurately completed
- Operate FLT / Clamp trucks safely and efficiently while meeting productivity and quality expectation
- Transport required reels and raw materials from warehouse to production workstation
- Identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies
- Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults .
- Maintain the equipment guaranteeing the daily functioning in line with the work instructions
- Carry out periodic stocktaking activities
- Guarantee the warehouse space optimization
- Transport parent reels from paper mill production area to warehouse if required
- Work closely and in cooperation with the rest of the Day Services and Shift teams
- Carry out any other reasonable request and support the colleagues in case of need
- To ensure a high level of housekeeping of the working area is maintained throughout the shift
- To ensure health & safety rules are adhered to
Valid FLT license - in-house or external Proven experience operating a forklift truck Experience using clamp and bale attachments (desirable). Strong awareness of health, safety, and safe working practices. - Full-time employment
