Full Job Description

As a Ranger, you're a champion of nature conservation and the great outdoors, and you'll play a crucial role in keeping the nation's beloved countryside and coast in good shape, for wildlife and for people.

We'd love to hear from you if you're:

  • practically experienced in practical outdoor work
  • passionate about protecting nature, landscapes and the benefits of public access
  • happy to talk to all kinds of people about the work you're doing, and why it matters
  • hard-working and willing to learn and work outside
  • able to work safely, using risk assessments and following guidelines
  • willingness to be trained in machinery and equipment
  • a driver with a full UK driving licence

    At Penrose, National Trust places range from dramatic coastal scenery at Gunwalloe to the varied woodlands at Penrose which surround Loe Pool, Cornwall's largest natural freshwater Lake.
