Full Job Description
- Own our range guardrails and principles and our store clustering strategy ensuring these are delivered against through range reviews
- Drive the change needed to embed our range optimisation approach, principles, and guardrails
- Lead, coach and develop the Range Optimisation team, empowering them to deliver against our strategic objectives
- Liaise closely with our customer and commercial teams to help translate category strategies into optimised range assortments
- Support and input into projects, tests and trials to find new ways of making our ranges even better
- Use data and insights to make sure we are optimising our tools and systems to help us get the right ranges in the right stores
- Be commercially driven to do the right things for our business, customers, and member owners
The ability to motivate through inspirational leadership and to deliver business needs through a successful team - The ability to champion change and invest time building strong relationships with a variety of internal and external partners
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present, challenge, and influence
- Experience and understanding of assortment planning, range review process and category management
