Full Job Description
A Raising Achievement Officer (Administrator) plays a vital role ensuring that there is a key point of contact for external agencies. They will coordinate internal and external meetings to discuss safeguarding issues, providing leadership for other pastoral staff who act as deputy designated safeguarding leads as part of our wider team.
We are looking to appoint a Raising Achievement Officer (Administrator) who works within an educational setting undertaking the operational aspects of safeguarding within the school. You will have a high level of personal drive and energy to be able to contribute to improving standards for students in the school.
This is a senior supervisory administrative role within the school. Their primary role will be working directly with the Designated Safeguarding Lead and you will be the key point of contact for all external agencies that the school works with in regard to safeguarding and child protection.
At Insignis Academy Trust we are recruiting for an Raising Achievement Officer (Administrator) at The Kingsbrook School. Opened in September 2022 to 180 year 7 students, the school will grow by each year of entry until full in 2027-28. Located at the heart of the Kingsbrook Estate in Aylesbury, the school boasts state of the art facilities across the mainstream school and a purpose-built Inclusion Unit for children with additional Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs., Insignis Academy Trust operates rigorous 'safer recruitment' practices, and the successful candidates will be required to undertake the completion of satisfactory checks including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, medical report, confirmation of qualifications, documentation to prove Right to Work in the UK and a prohibition from teaching check.
