Do you want to work on nationally significant rail and transport disputes with one of the UK's largest dedicated rail and transport teams?
The Opportunity
Comprising a 100+ strong team of specialist lawyers, Burges Salmon's Dispute Resolution team provides expert advice to multi-national organisations, institutions, entrepreneurial businesses, and high net worth individuals facing complex challenges in the UK and internationally.
Burges Salmon's Transport team includes one of the UK's most long-established and leading specialist rail practices, advising on contentious risks and disputes in connection with major public service contracts, operational issues, rolling stock and other procurements, infrastructure and fleet projects, safety incidents and regulatory matters (economic and safety). With one of the largest dedicated and Tier 1 ranked rail teams in the UK, we deliver commercially focused advice on complex, high-profile work across the sector.
We act for many of the rail sector's most influential organisations, from major transport operators such as FirstGroup, DfTO and Eurostar, infrastructure managers such as Network Rail and transport authorities such as Transport for London, Transport for Wales and Translink. Our client base spans all four countries of the UK.
Joining the team offers the opportunity to work on high-profile, nationally significant disputes alongside recognised experts who are helping to shape the future of rail and transport and the lawyers that will support it.
