Rail Replacement Coordinator

We're looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Rail Replacement Coordinators to join our expanding team at Arriva Road Transport Services.
In this dynamic, frontline role, you'll be based at key train stations, ensuring rail replacement services run safely, smoothly, and efficiently. You'll play a vital role in supporting passengers, coordinating transport providers, and responding to real-time changes to keep services on track.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day delivery of planned and emergency rail replacement servicesSupport drivers and ensure vehicles meet required standardsMonitor service performance, ensuring timely arrivals and departuresHelp maintain strong connections between rail and road servicesProvide clear, helpful information to passengersManage boarding to ensure passengers travel on the correct servicesRespond to disruptions such as delays, traffic, or incidents, adjusting services where neededWork closely with control teams to resolve operational issuesEnsure safe and organised pick-up and drop-off areasCarry out passenger counts and report service dataRecord and escalate incidents, providing detailed feedback post-shift
