Full Job Description
Join our team now at Siemens Healthineers as R&D Technician (Fixed Term Contract ending December 2027) and you will conduct laboratory studies as part of product development and improvement projects, and product maintenance activities. This role will be based at our Llanberis facility in North Wales.,
- Provide assistance in research, analysis and experimentation for product and process development of immunoassays.
- Participate in interdisciplinary Element Team/ Design Change / Design Transfer meetings.
- Assists in the development of experimental test designs for a variety of products, processes in support of new product development or lifecycle management projects.
- Execute assay and application (e.g. new allergens) verification / validations using agreed protocols with guidance/supervision.
- Carry out laboratory and equipment maintenance and ordering chemicals/supplies to support departmental activities.
- Provide support in preparing reports, charts, graphs, and other documents.
- Ensure compliance, at all times, with relevant Quality and Environmental Standards as documented within the company Quality Management Systems.
Degree or equivalent experience in Biological Sciences or related field. - Demonstrable experience in laboratory environment.
- Industry experience in Life Sciences, Medical Devices or Diagnostics (preferred), or relevant transferrable experience.
- Attention to detail, good time management skills and teamwork.
- Commitment, integrity and a high level of self-motivation.
