R&D Engineer

Expleo is currently recruiting for an experienced R&D Engineer to join our customer based in Warwickshire on a contract basis until the end of March, with a strong possibility of extension. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineering professional to work on innovative product and technology development within a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.
Rate:_ £33.88 per hour (Umbrella)
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for improving and developing new products, components, and technologies, including:Ensuring research and design methodologies meet established scientific and engineering standardsSupporting the development of business plans and budgets for new productsAnalysing quality and safety test results to ensure compliance with internal and industry standardsKeeping up to date with industry developments and translating insights into viable engineering solutionsDelivering technical presentations to customers and industry stakeholdersMonitoring project outcomes to ensure delivery against technical, functional, cost, and timing targetsSupporting (where applicable) product regulatory approval processes
About the RoleThis is a Specialist Professional level role, suited to a recognised subject matter expert with strong technical knowledge and experience.You will also:Manage complex projects or processes with minimal supervisionCoach and support junior engineersTackle challenging and often complex engineering problems
Ideal Candidate ProfileStrong experience in product development and engineering R&DAbility to work independently on complex technical challengesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills, including presenting to stakeholders
