Quantity Suveyor

As Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of the commercial management of multiple wastewater projects, ensuring financial performance is maximised while supporting successful project delivery from tender through to final account. Working closely with our Project Managers, operational teams and clients, you'll provide commercial expertise, identify opportunities to improve profitability and help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost plans, valuations, applications for payment and final accounts.
  
  Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the water, wastewater, utilities or civil engineering sectors.
• Good understanding of contract administration, ideally NEC contracts.
• Strong commercial awareness with excellent negotiation skills.
• Experience managing project costs from pre-construction through to completion.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Degree, HNC or HND in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline (preferred).
• Membership of RICS or working towards chartership is desirable.
