Quantity Surveyor

Hours: Permanent Fulltime 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Commercial team, supporting them in delivering highway services. Your day to day will include:

Completing accurate take-offs and producing task price lists for task orders

Supporting the commercial management of a portfolio of projects and presenting scheme performance at gateway meetings

Maintaining scheme cost monitors, producing month-end CVRs and monitoring costs across assigned schemes

Using contract management software to manage and value change on allocated projects

Collaborating with operational colleagues and clients to provide commercial advice for safe and efficient delivery

Holds, or is working towards, a qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

Brings experience from a Quantity Surveying or related role within the construction, civil engineering, or highways sector

Demonstrates strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

Has excellent analytical and organisational abilities, with confidence managing large volumes of data and balancing competing priorities

Holds a full driving licence and is comfortable travelling to project sites when required
