Full Job Description

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial management of multiple infrastructure projects from pre-construction through to final account. Working closely with operational teams and key stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring commercial performance is maintained while supporting the successful delivery of projects.
This opportunity would suit a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities, or related sectors and a thorough understanding of NEC contracts.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the commercial aspects of projects throughout the entire lifecycle.
Prepare and negotiate applications for payment, valuations, and final accounts.
Administer subcontractor accounts including procurement, payments, and variations.
Manage change control procedures and commercial risk.
Produce accurate cost forecasts and financial reports.
Monitor project performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Ensure contractual compliance and robust commercial governance.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, supply chain partners, and internal stakeholders.
Support the wider commercial team in achieving project and business objectives.

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within a contractor environment.
Strong background delivering civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities, or construction projects.
Excellent knowledge of NEC forms of contract.
Experience managing subcontract packages and commercial reporting.
Strong understanding of cost management, forecasting, and valuations.
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or equivalent (preferred).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Full UK driving license.
