Full Job Description
Location: Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required. Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us. We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a vital role in our commercial team, assisting with the commercial management of our Water Framework project during the construction phase. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the commercial team, supporting them in delivering successful project outcomes. Your day to day will include:
- Managing valuations, project cashflows, and producing comprehensive monthly cost reports
- Ensuring compliance with procurement strategies and reviewing subcontract tenders
- Providing expert contractual advice and handling documentation
- Driving commercial initiatives and developing margin improvement plans
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members to meet targets and deadlines
You hold a construction-related degree qualification - You have a full UK driving licence
- You bring commercial experience working for a contractor, ideally with MEP exposure
- You're familiar with various contract forms
- You thrive when collaborating with colleagues and building relationships
