Quantity Surveyor

As a Site Quantity Surveyor, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day commercial management of projects on site. Working closely with project teams, you'll ensure costs are controlled, risks are managed, and value is maximised throughout the project lifecycle. These roles offer exposure to a diverse range of construction projects across London, and we are open to candidates from a variety of sector backgrounds.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage the commercial aspects of projects from procurement through to final accountPrepare, review, and administer subcontract packages, including procurement and appointmentMonitor project costs, valuations, and forecasts, ensuring financial performance is maintainedIdentify, assess, and manage commercial risks and opportunitiesPrepare and submit applications for payment and manage cash flow effectivelyHandle variations, change control processes, and associated negotiationsWork closely with site and project teams to ensure accurate cost reporting and programme alignmentSupport dispute avoidance and resolution where requiredMaintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders

About YouExperience in a Quantity Surveyor or Site Quantity Surveyor role within a construction environmentStrong understanding of commercial management on live projectsWorking knowledge of NEC and/or JCT forms of contractProven experience managing subcontractors and cost control processesCommercially aware with strong numerical and analytical skillsEffective communicator with the ability to build relationships across project teamsProactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentDegree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (desirable)
