Full Job Description
We're looking for 3 skilled and confident Quantity Surveyor's to join our team delivering some of the UK's most vital electricity transmission projects. If you're ready for a role with variety, complexity, and long-term impact, this could be your next move. Flexible on location, Manchester - Warwick - Bristol - Reading with a hybrid working model that includes a mix of home, office, and site work. You'll take commercial control of high-voltage substation projects-ranging from switchgear replacements and transformer installations to advanced control systems and civil works, with values up to £6 million. These projects demand expert oversight, sharp commercial thinking, and clear, effective communication with multiple stakeholders. Your expertise will be key in managing NEC contracts, resolving variations, assessing programme impacts, certifying payments, and negotiating outcomes that balance fairness and value. This is a role where your judgement is trusted, your knowledge respected, and your work truly matters. - Minimum HNC/L4 Construction, Engineering or Quantity Surveyor qualification.
- Proven main contractor experience.
- Ability to undertake site measure and value works from first principles.
- Stakeholder Management skills - Internal and external.
- Can travel with occasional overnight stays is expected, a full UK driving licence is essential.
A starting salary of up to £65,000 pa + £3,000 pa Market Supplement + Training and Development. - Company Car - Hybrid or full electric.
- 26 days annual leave plus 8 statutory days.
