Full Job Description

As a Quality Performance Officer you will support the local adult social care market to raise standards across the borough ensuring a choice of high quality services that are each kind, compassionate and hold person centred care and user experience at the forefront of service delivery.

In line with the Care Act 2014 and The Care Quality Commissions regulatory framework you will support both the development and implementation of a local approach to comprehensive quality assurance informed by people in receipt of services and their experiences.

You will work a range of health and social care professionals, people in receipt of services and their families.

You will support and lead on complaint responses and support aspects of the safeguarding process.

You will be a passionate and energetic leader who shares our commitment, working in collaboration with a range of partners to support Wigan residents to live happy, healthy lives.

You will have the commitment and drive to ensure the ongoing improvement and transformation of the external market.

You will be a great communicator and developing effective relationships with external providers and supporting professionals will be key to your success in the role.

We are a small team within the wider Provider Management and Market Development service, committed to the co-design and delivery of excellent services for Wigan residents. We are proud of our ability to drive innovation and lead ambitious service redesign and improvement programmes.

Though the role of the QPO is generic, the post is aligned to a specific market area supporting the nursing and residential and extra care market.

Salary: Grade 8, £ 36,363 - £ 40,777 per annum.

37 hours per week
