Full Job Description

  • Manage and develop the Pathology Quality Management System.
  • Lead the department through UKAS, HTA, MHRA and other inspections.
  • Oversee risk management, incident processes and internal audit programmes.
  • Support continuous improvement through KPI monitoring and data analysis.
  • Line manage the Quality & Business Officers and provide expert guidance to clinical and managerial teams.
  • Deliver QMS-related training and ensure documentation is controlled and up to date.

    We are looking for an experienced and motivated Quality Managerto lead the Quality Management System across our Pathology service. This is a key leadership role ensuring our laboratories meet ISO 15189 and all regulatory, accreditation and governance requirements., Relevant degree and qualification/experience in Quality Management.
  • Experience with ISO standards and quality systems (ideally ISO 15189).
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to analyse data, manage competing priorities and drive improvement.
