Full Job Description

Help Shape the Future of Mental Health Care

Are you a passionate mental health professional who thrives on improving quality, driving innovation, and making a lasting difference for service users?

We're looking for an inspiring Quality Lead to join our Complex Emotional Needs (CEN) Provision. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician and leader to champion quality improvement, influence service development, and help deliver outstanding care across South Staffordshire.

As our Quality Lead, you'll be at the forefront of delivering safe, effective and compassionate services for people with complex emotional needs. Working closely with operational, quality and clinical leaders, you'll drive continuous improvement, embed best practice, and ensure high standards of care are consistently achieved across the provision.

Main duties of the job

You'll be instrumental in creating a culture where quality is everyone's responsibility and where people receive the very best support on their recovery journey.

As the quality lead you will lead on improvement initiatives across community, inpatient and urgent care services to enhance the care and intervention for individuals with complex emotional needs. You will have be accredited in the structured clinical management (SCM) approach, be willing to work towards supervisor status, and lead on embedding this into wider services, and support teams to deliver evidence-based care in line with NICE guidance. You will be driving innovation, implementing positive change whilst support staff development and monitoring quality standards, audits and service performance.

Come and work with us at our award-winning NHS Trust, leading the way for trying new and better ways of working to help improve life for our local communities.

We have around 9,000 staff who provide physical and mental healthcare, support for people with learning disabilities, and adult social care across Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Shropshire, and Telford & Wrekin. We also run regional and national services, including help for new parents (perinatal care), eating disorders, forensic services, sexual health, and support for people in prison with mental health, drug, or alcohol problems.

We offer great career development for both clinical and non-clinical roles, with ongoing training and support to help you learn and grow.

We are 'United in our Uniqueness' and committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels welcome and can be themselves, no matter their background or identity. We want our staff to feel supported and valued, and we aim to build a team that reflects the communities we serve. Together, we can make sure every voice is heard, and every difference is respected.
