Full Job Description

The Senior Quality Improvement Lead is a senior, field-based role within the Quality & Governance Directorate, responsible for leading the Group's quality improvement function and managing a team of four Quality Improvement Leads. Reporting to the Quality & Governance Director, the postholder combines team leadership with a substantial personal workload of direct improvement activity in homes - providing clinical and care practice support, governance coaching, leadership development for Home Managers and clinical leads, and the roll-out of Group-wide quality initiatives and programmes across the portfolio.

The primary focus of this role is improvement, development, and the elevation of practice standards. Whilst the Senior Quality Improvement Lead and their team may conduct or contribute to quality visits and assessments as needed, the heart of the role is working alongside teams in homes to strengthen care quality, build clinical capability, improve governance, and support the journey from good to outstanding. The postholder works closely with the Quality & Governance Director, Compliance Manager, Regional Directors, Area Directors, and Home Managers to ensure the Group's homes are not just compliant, but genuinely excellent.
