Full Job Description

The Quality & Governance Director is a senior executive leadership role with Group-wide responsibility for regulatory compliance, quality assurance, clinical governance, safeguarding, staff training and practice development, and catering and housekeeping standards. In addition, the postholder will act as the Nominated Individual for England under the CQC, holding formal regulatory responsibility for the oversight of all CQC-registered services within the Group's English portfolio. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and sitting on the Executive Leadership Team, the postholder provides the strategic and operational framework that ensures every Healthcare Ireland home delivers safe, effective, and high-quality care.

Leading a directorate that encompasses Compliance, Quality Improvement, Training & Practice Development, and Catering & Housekeeping, the Quality & Governance Director will work in close partnership with Regional Directors, the People Director, and the Finance Director to embed a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and excellence across all homes.
