Quality Engineer

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our Fabrication shop in Jarrow on a permanent basis. You'll oversee Quality Assurance and Quality Control in Manufacturing and across the supply chain, along with the compilation of lifetime quality records for delivery to the customer.,

• Monitoring Quality Control in Manufacturing and in Supply Chain (End to End processes)
• Quality Assurance/Surveillance of adherence to Specifications & Procedures
• Establish, maintain, review, improve processes and Records templates to ensure they are fit for purpose and efficient to implement
• Compilation of LTQR records for delivery to the customer
• Review and approval of LTQR records for delivery to the customer
• Ensures delivery in accordance with Client specifications and KAEFER quality management system
• Ensures we have all the correct procedures in place to deliver the works
• Superuser for Client document control system
• Liaise with Client(s) QA/QC/Document Control representatives, attend meetings, and report performance either directly or through operations
• Identify, investigate and remedy non-conformances
• Lead on continuous improvement activities to further the performance of the organisation
• Visit suppliers and monitor supplier performance
• Work closely with colleagues to deliver the overall objectives of the organisation
  
  Experienced Quality Engineer in a highly regulated industry
• Experienced in Manufacturing and Welding
• Qualifications in Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control (either in date or recently lapsed)
