Full Job Description
This is not a typical Quality Director role, this is about leading transformation and delivering excellence. This is an opportunity to define, influence and elevate quality at scale across a forward-thinking apprenticeship provider driving real impact in health & social care and residential childcare, where quality isn't just measured, it changes lives. As our Quality Director, you will sit at the heart of the organisation's strategic leadership, working directly with the CEO and Board to lead a bold transformation agenda, raise standards, and ensure we consistently deliver outstanding provision. You'll bring the credibility, insight and ambition to move beyond compliance embedding a culture where quality is lived, owned and continuously improved across every team, programme and learner journey. What you'll be responsible for as our Quality Director: Strategic Quality & Transformation Leadership . Lead the quality improvement strategy aligned to transformation and sector reform . Own and deliver SAR and QIP with measurable impact . Ensure continuous Ofsted readiness . Drive excellence in teaching, learning and assessment . Maintain compliance with ESFA funding rules and safeguarding Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement . Lead and develop Quality teams including QICs, IQAs and safeguarding leads . Embed best practice in teaching, learning and assessment . Champion safeguarding excellence . Use data to drive improvements in learner outcomes Stakeholder & Sector Leadership . Act as senior contact for EPAOs and awarding bodies . Build relationships with DfE and DWP . Represent the organisation at senior level Performance, Governance & Insight . Lead executive reporting on quality impact . Monitor KPIs including QAR and Ofsted performance . Drive a culture of continuous improvement, Executive influence, in this role you will shape business-wide quality strategies and work closely with the CEO,

Director-level experience in a UK apprenticeship provider . Strong understanding of Ofsted EIF and ESFA rules . Proven SAR and QIP leadership . Expertise in teaching, learning and assessment . Experience leading high-performing teams . A data drive sand impact focused approach . Passionate about learner outcomes Other element that would be advantageous for this role: . Health and Social Care or Residential Childcare experience - Safeguarding leadership - Quality kite marks experience (Matrix, ISO, IIP)
Transformation ownership you will lead large-scale change aligned to sector reform . Drive quality across critical provision in Health and Social Care and Residential Childcare . Lead Ofsted readiness with confidence and clarity . End-to-end quality leadership from SAR/QIP to teaching, learning & safeguarding . Remote based with a competitive salary
