Quality Control Team Member

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Team Member to join our team at our site in Loughton, Essex. Reporting to the Quality Control FLM, you will be involved in testing, inspection and auditing our banknotes, assuring that manufactured products meet the required quality standards., To support the team in achieving departmental & site targets.

Ensure that all checks and supporting documentation as applicable, are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Liaise with stake holders as necessary to support/escalate quality events and actions. E.g. In-Process - escalate quality issues, agree containment, ensure relevant notifications are raised & support investigations. Final LOTs - escalate failures, mitigate delivery gaps where possible, ensuring relevant notifications are raised.

Support Customer/Supplier investigations if required.

Facilitate shift handovers, to ensure effective cross shift communication.

Active participation in continuous improvement, working the closely with the team to develop working practices.

From 31st August 2026, we will transition to a 24/5 Shift Pattern - consists of 3 crews of 12-hour shifts of either: 6.00 am to 6.00 pm; and 6.00 pm to 6.00 am, Monday to Friday rota. Attendance is 40 hours per week on average, including a 30-minute unpaid break plus a 15-minute unpaid break to be taken during the shift, Basic Salary: £39,031 per annum on Double Days, rising to £41,313 per annum on 24/5 shift pattern. Upon successful completion of a 6-month probation period, this will rise to £43,823 per annum., 26 days annual leave + bank holidays
