Quality Control InspectorLocation: WytonSalary: £30,812 plus a fantastic range of benefitsAbout UsManheim Vehicle Services is a fast-evolving business supporting customer de-fleets, multiple remarketing channels, and full vehicle preparation services - from wholesale to retail-ready.We provide agile, responsive support, managing a wide range of customer requirements with precision.Our department carries out initial cosmetic inspections, manages authorisation and quality control processes, and ensures every vehicle meets contractual and customer-defined standards before it is made available for sale.Key AccountabilitiesAs a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for performing detailed quality control checks on all vehicles, ensuring they meet both our high internal standards and the specific requirements of each customer contract.Working across three key quality control stages, you will play a vital role in maintaining the consistency, quality, and readiness of every vehicle as it moves through the refurbishment process.What You Will Be Doing
- Understand and correctly apply the standards for each customer contract.
- Meet daily targets for moving vehicles through the refurbishment process, identifying and escalating any delays.
- Spot and report any sub-standard repairs, maintaining the integrity of our processes.
- Make clear, confident decisions - recognising both when a repair meets standards and when it does not.
Experience working within strict regulations and procedures. - Exceptional eye for detail and quality.
- Strong understanding of vehicle repairs and the desired outcomes.
- Knowledge of both car and commercial vehicle components.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to adapt to new and evolving technology.
- Proactive, flexible, and able to quickly react to change.
- Team player, committed to achieving departmental goals.
- Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
