- The base location for this role is Greggs Packing Plant, Seaham What you'll doAs a Quality Assurance Technician, you'll:Ensure food safety and quality standards are maintained across the siteSupport managers and operators in their responsibility to Food Safety and QualityEvaluate process controls during production to ensure they comply with agreed specifications and proceduresComplete the site microbiological, water and swabbing sampling schedules to ensure safety of productsOwn the management of non-conforming products, QA Holds and product releasesOrganise and completion of packagingl intake checks against group specificationsComplete annual CCP validation checks of all Critical Control Points on siteCarry out and update audits e.g., BRC Internal audits, Glass & Plastic, CCP, GMP inspections and processMonitor equipment performance and control through internal calibration of scales and thermometers to ensure complianceAssist with customer complaint investigationsAmend factory process control documentationAbout youWe are looking for individuals who have drive, and can demonstrate:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong skills in planning, prioritising, and organisingMulti-tasking and working with multiple priorities at pace, delivering results within tight timescalesThe ability to communicate and influence at all levelsThe ability to build strong cross functional relationshipsThe ability to work independently and as part of a small teamInitiative and the ability to see tasks through to completionEnjoy being part of a hard-working team, sharing the same end goal, and celebrating results togetherAre supportive of an inclusive culture - recognising and valuing that difference is goodWant to develop and are ready to work alongside some great people and have lots of fun on your Greggs journey!About GreggsHere at Greggs, we love what we do, and we have fun!
