Qualified Social Worker - Children's

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Social Workers who can join us temporarily while we recruit for permanent positions. You are someone who values structured working environments, where you can make timely and effective interventions to support families. You thrive in a role that allows you to dedicate focused time on comprehensive assessments and safeguarding, and are committed to maintaining the wellbeing of the children and families you work with. The position involves participating in a duty rota every 8 weeks, during which you will advance newly allocated cases to the first hearing before they are transferred. This allows you to dedicate the remaining weeks to intensive work with families. Responsibilities include completing thorough assessments, ensuring appropriate access to support, and managing Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) cases effectively. The job provides protected time for meaningful family work, quality practice, and supports staff wellbeing through manageable caseloads and strong support from our senior management and partnership team.
