Electrician
Location: Swindon
Contract: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Salary: £22.18 per hour

About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and professional Electrician to join our technical services team at our client site in Swindon. This is a varied, hands-on role responsible for delivering planned, reactive, and preventative maintenance across electrical systems, building services, and site infrastructure. You will play a key role in ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with site standards, including GMP requirements where applicable.
What you'll do
- Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive electrical maintenance across the site
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs to plant, equipment, and building services
- Support mechanical and fabric maintenance tasks where required
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time allocation
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations, safe systems of work, and site procedures
- Assist and oversee third-party contractors when required
- Report maintenance issues, risks, or potential service disruptions promptly
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and client service at all times
What you'll bring
- City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (City & Guilds 2382)
- Inspection and Testing qualification (City & Guilds 2391/2395 or equivalent)
- Experience in a similar maintenance or facilities role
- Good understanding of health & safety regulations, including safe systems of work
- Ability to diagnose faults and work independently
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach
Desirable
- PAT Testing qualification (City & Guilds 2377)
- ECS Gold Card or IPAF certification
