Qualified Plumber

This is a varied plumbing maintenance role working across a range of client sites.
You will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day plumbing maintenance, repairs and minor installation works, as well as supporting wider building maintenance tasks where required.
Day to day, you will:
Carry out plumbing maintenance and repairs
Repair and replace taps, showers, TMVs, ball valves, gate valves and stopcocks
Maintain heating and hot water systems
Check and replace 2-port and 3-port valves, mixing valves, pumps, TRVs and radiators
Maintain and replace shower valves
Install and replace hot and cold-water pipework
Repair leaks and carry out system drain-downs and refills
Work on cold-water storage tanks and hot-water cylinders
Complete routine and reactive maintenance
Make recommendations where further works are required
Work closely with other engineers and the wider team

You

must be a qualified plumber

with good practical knowledge and a strong maintenance background.
Essential requirements:
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating, or equivalent recognised plumbing qualification
Previous experience working as a Plumbing Engineer or Maintenance Plumber
At least 2 years' relevant practical experience
Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Experience working on heating and hot-water systems
Good IT skills and confidence using PDA/compliance reporting systems
A positive and professional approach
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Full UK driving licence
The following would be an advantage but are not essential:
G3 Unvented Hot Water qualification
Water hygiene plumbing experience

£35,000 - £38,000 basic salary depending on experience
