Qualified Nursery Staff Wanted - Derby Area
We are currently seeking enthusiastic, caring, and qualified Nursery Practitioners to join our friendly and supportive early years teams across the Derby area.
Position: Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified)
Location: Derby
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible shifts available
Salary: Competitive, dependent on qualifications and experience
About the Role
You will play a key role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop, and thrive. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will support children's early development through play-based learning and positive engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and education in line with EYFS guidelines
- Plan and support engaging activities tailored to children's needs
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment
- Monitor and record children's development and progress
Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent)
- Previous nursery or early years experience preferred
- Sound knowledge of EYFS framework
- A caring, patient, and proactive attitude
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
