QA Test Engineer£42,160 - £46,844 per annum (depending on experience)Home based (with infrequent travel to Solihull/Worcester office as required), Are you a Quality Assurance professional with vast experience in testing, who is looking for a new challenge and ready to make a difference?We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced QA Test Engineer to be responsible for ensuring that all new or updated systems for Platform Housing Group (PHG) services are rigorously tested, functional, stable, and ready for release. This includes developing and executing test scripts, identifying and managing defects, validating business scenarios, and supporting smooth service transitions.

In this varied role, you will ensure non-functional requirements such as security and performance, and, where possible, carry out automation and regression testing on internally developed tools and applications, in conjunction with the Application Development team. By collaborating with various teams as part of the agile delivery process, the tester helps integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.

You will play a vital role in supporting and developing the quality assurance process and will be supporting the development lifecycle by planning, designing, and executing manual and automated tests as part of continuous integration and deployment practices.

Proven experience in a similar QA Tester/Test automation role

-Creating, updating and execution of test cases and scripts

-Strong, demonstratable understanding of automated testing tools such as Selenium

-Significant experience of QA testing within D365, F&O and Azure Logic Apps

-Knowledge of programming languages, SQL, KQL and scripting

-Strong experience of performance and security testing, functional, usability, regression, UI and testing

-Writing support documentation

-Substantial experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads

-Proven ability of senior stakeholder liaison and relationship building, in a collaborative working environment

While this role is home based, you should have the ability to travel to Group offices for infrequent meetings when required. Our Group offices are at Birmingham Business Park and Central Park, Worcester. Any required travel will be reimbursed in line with the current inland revenue mileage rates., Disability Confident
