QA Technician

The purpose of the role is to ensure that all products meet integrity and specification requirements.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Ensure that one-page specs for products are on the line prior to start up

Responsible for changing the threshold on metal detectors.

Responsible for conducting fat tests for the Mince line only.

Conducting various pre and postproduction checks, including Gas, average weight, metal detector, finish product, pre-despatch and despatch

Daily calibration checks of probes

Responsible for taking lab samples and conducting meat content analysis.

Checking labels for accuracy against specification and product, including conducting double check

Conducting Retail pack tare checks on catch weights

Conducting scale verification

T2 chart (check scale is running average weight)

Completing random checks on lines to see if any old scan labels have been left.

Machine Mind including labellers and Sealpac.
