We're proud of our friendly, supportive culture where personal development is encouraged, and every team member is valued.The Role We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to support our busy Procurement Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong administrative background and a proactive, team-focused attitude to develop a rewarding career in procurement. Reporting to: Head of ProcurementKey Responsibilities:
- Raise purchase orders and manage documentation across UK and US sites
- Support daily operations calls and share relevant updates with the team
- Convert internal requisitions into accurate purchase orders
- Maintain and monitor the contract log, alert buyers to upcoming renewals
- Generate and distribute weekly and monthly procurement reports
- Assist with supplier onboarding and manage supplier records
- Request updated documentation from suppliers and ensure compliance
- Serve as a helpful point of contact for suppliers and internal colleagues
- Participate in regular calls to help resolve supplier payment issues
- General procurement administration and support as needed
Previous experience in an administrative or procurement support role - Strong communication skills and a desire to help others
- Proactive attitude with the ability to build relationships internally and externally
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills
- Comfortable using Excel, Outlook, Teams and other standard applications
