Full Job Description

The Purchase Ledger Clerk will be responsible for the management of all invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, maintaining the sales ledger, managing credit control and managing bank receipts for the school and nursery.

The successful candidate will be highly organised and financially astute, with strong communication skills and experience of working in a busy and demanding finance department. Strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills and a proactive mindset are key requirements for this role, as is being educated to A Level standard or equivalent.

Kent College is a co-educational school with a Methodist foundation. The school is located in Canterbury, just one hour from the center of London by train. The Senior School (11 - 18 years) has some 600 boys and girls, approximately one-third boarding and two-thirds day.
