- to engage in supervision and support from a qualified speech and language therapist
- to assist in assessing CYPs strengths and needs in their home language under the supervision of a Speech and Language Therapist and to give verbal and written feedback to the therapist.
- to translate written advice and information materials in the CYPs home language using appropriate technology.
- to advise the Speech and Language Therapy team regarding cultural and linguistic issues which may impact on families/communities accessing and receiving an equitable service from Ealing Speech and Language Therapy.
- to work with the Speech and Language Therapy team to promote and raise awareness of the service amongst community groups.
- to support and participate in the induction and training of new co-workers.
