Public Health Consultant

As a senior member of the public health leadership team, you will:

• Provide high-quality expert advice across the Council and the Integrated Care System
• Work closely with elected Members, senior officers and partners
• Lead strategic programmes to reduce inequalities and improve outcomes
• Oversee evidence, intelligence, JSNA development and priority setting
• Contribute to health protection, emergency response and resilience functions
• Support workforce development, training and educational supervision
• Deputise for the Director of Public Health as required
