Job Description
Job Title: PTW Engineer (Backshift/evenings)
Location: Hinkley Point C, Somerset
Pay: PAYE £325 or Umbrella £500

Tasks & Responsibilities
- Ensure that the site specific Permit to Work Procedure and safety guidelines satisfy the local rules and regulations
- Ensure that the information notified on the Permit to Work documents is clear and complete
- Organise and manage a digital system for the PTW documents
- Ensure that all nominated people are trained in the construction safety rules (PTW-system) according to their function on site
- In the PTW Clearance and Cancellation process, receive notifications from PTW holders when they have finished their work
- Provide advice, when required, to the competent PTW Acceptors
- Assist the auditor in reviewing compliance with the PTW procedure during a PTW audit and implement corrective actions within the agreed timescale
- Ensure that all precautions have been taken before, during, and after the job where PTW is issued to ensure safe work conditions
- Collect information about all cross boundary interfaces between GE and other Contractors
