PTS Ambulance Care Assistant - Selby

We are currently recruiting for a PTS Ambulance Care Assistant for Selby Ambulance station for a part-time, permanent role who shares a value and belief in delivering the highest standards of quality service and patient care. Working days will be Wednesday & Thursday covering shifts aligned to a 9 week rolling rota, 7.5 hours a day (15 hrs). Shifts will include 0700/1500, 0800/1600, 1100/1900 & 1200/2000.

• Training Courses are full time, Mon- Fri for 4 weeks, full attendance is required.
Please note: you must have a full UK manual driving licence to apply for this role.Main duties of the job Responsible for the care and safe transportation of non-emergency PTS patients. Ensuring timely transportation to and from appointments at hospitals, treatment centres, day units or other places of care. At all times the post holder must ensure patient safety and reduction in harm to patients, self, colleagues, and others by assessing risks and adopting safe working practices.
