We are looking for candidates to be based at stations in York, Harrogate & Northallerton. We are currently recruiting for a Patient Transport Service (PTS) Ambulance Care Assistant, zero hour position, who shares a value and belief in delivering the highest standards of quality service and patient care.
- Training Courses are full time at different locations within Yorkshire, Mon- Fri for 4 weeks, full attendance is required, Responsible for the care and safe transportation of non-emergency PTS patients. Ensuring timely transportation to and from appointments at hospitals, treatment centres, day units or other places of care. At all times the post holder must ensure patient safety and reduction in harm to patients, self, colleagues, and others by assessing risks and adopting safe working practices.
+ For the purpose of this job, equivalent experience would be defined as having worked for a minimum of 2 years in a Band 2 PTS Driver post.
