Psychotherapist (CBT in Pychosis)

We at the Early Intervention Team are looking for a Psychotherapist band 7 to join the multi-disciplinary team. The post is based at Kendray hospital site & the successful candidate will provide support and interventions to individuals who experience first episode psychosis or at high risk of developing a psychotic episode.

This post is a 12-month fixed term contract commencing in September 2026 to cover a secondment.

This is also an excellent opportunity for potential newly qualified therapist to work with the EIT existing therapists in the team to develop and enhance your trauma informed practice.

We are a family friendly team; our opening hours are 8.00am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 9-5 on weekends and bank holidays., To provide therapeutic interventions to individuals under the care of The Early Interventions Team.

To provide structured CBT for transdiagnostic anxiety, depression, PTSD, psychosis and trauma.

These interventions aim to reduce the risk of relapse by addressing underlying trauma and enhanced coping strategies.
