Five Education are seeking caring, resilient, and enthusiastic Psychology Graduates to work as Teaching Assistants in a welcoming SEND school in Taunton. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates looking to build hands-on experience supporting children and young people with additional educational needs while developing skills relevant to future careers. The school caters for pupils with a variety of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and learning disabilities. As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play an important role in helping students engage with learning, develop their independence, and build confidence in a safe, nurturing environment.

- Build trusting relationships with pupils, helping them feel secure, motivated, and included throughout the school day.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Psychology or a related discipline.
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs.
- A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach to working with pupils.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
Essential requirements:
- Right to work in the UK – we are unable to offer Sponsorship or accept Skilled Worker visas.
- Able to provide two recent references (from the last two years).
- Hold a current DBS check registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
Please note, if you do not have a Non-Voluntary Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, we will need to help you process a new one at a cost of £62.70. This will be refunded after 20 days of work with us.
