Full Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Gambling Wellbeing Practitioner to join our clinical team at Gordon Moody. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals affected by gambling-related harm. Working closely with our Clinical Lead, CBT Therapists, and Recovery Workers, you will deliver evidence-based, psychologically informed interventions that support people to recover, rebuild their emotional wellbeing, and achieve positive long-term outcomes. If you're passionate about addiction recovery and helping people transform their lives, this role offers meaningful, impactful work in a supportive, mission-driven organisation., In this role, you'll deliver low-intensity therapeutic interventions and wellbeing support to individuals experiencing gambling addiction and related harm. You'll support assessments, help service users identify recovery goals, and develop care plans tailored to their emotional, psychological, and social needs. You'll encourage engagement with treatment and peer support, facilitate access to community resources, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners. You'll also maintain accurate records, undertake risk assessments, respond to safeguarding concerns, and contribute to service improvement and reflective practice.
