Full Job Description

We are looking for a psychologist or psychological therapist to join the Greater Manchester Student Mental Health Team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced therapist who would like to develop their understanding and skills of working with complex and co-morbid mental health presentations using a trauma informed perspective.

Our friendly team already includes a Consultant clinical psychologist Lead, 2 Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologists, Clinical Psychologist and CBT therapists. We sit within a multi-disciplinary team to provide a needs-led trauma informed service. This includes Case Managers from Nursing and Social Care backgrounds. We are also supported by a Psychiatry Outpatient team., You will provide assessment and formulation of clinical needs, intervention (individual and group based) and supervision, CPD and reflective practice to inform a psychological perspective to team working.
