PSW Careers Case Manager

The North West Professional Support and Wellbeing Service (PSW) are recruiting Career Case Managers. The PSW offers pastoral and professional support to postgraduate multi-professional trainees within the North West Deanery. Career Case Managers will work with postgraduate multi-professional trainees who are referred to the PSW for support. The Career Case Manager will work with the trainee to support them to explore career options and develop clear action plans and signpost to relevant resources and opportunities., The Career Case Manager will undertake a postgraduate qualification in Careers Guidance and engage with ongoing CPD.,

• Deliver individual careers guidance and coaching sessions.
• Support multi-professional trainees to explore career options and develop clear action plans.
• Work collaboratively with PSW Case Managers and the Careers Support Manager.
• Undertake career-focused assessments and monitor progress.
• Signpost multi-professional trainees to relevant resources and opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records within the PSW SharePoint and uphold confidentiality standards.
  
  We are keen to appoint senior medical educators who have a range of experience of working with multi-professional trainees and who have held education and leadership roles.
Career Case Managers should have a good understanding of working with multi-professional trainees to provide structured, high quality careers guidance and coaching. The Career Case Manager will work as a coach, therefore previous experience and an ongoing interest in coaching is essential.
