Full Job Description
We are seeking an inspiring and committed PSHE Subject Lead Teacher to lead and develop a high-impact PSHE curriculum across KS3-KS5. This role sits at the heart of our school ethos and plays a vital part in supporting students to become confident, resilient and well-rounded young people. You will provide strategic leadership, build staff confidence, and ensure PSHE is fully embedded in the culture and daily life of the school-particularly supporting students with complex SEMH needs, including Autism.,
- Lead, deliver and evaluate a high-quality PSHE curriculum across KS3-KS5, with strong KS3 foundations.
- Drive curriculum development and ensure PSHE reflects statutory guidance, best practice and student need.
- Support, train and coach staff to deliver confident, effective PSHE teaching.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with students to promote engagement, wellbeing and participation.
- Support students through dysregulation in line with individual risk assessments and behaviour strategies.
- Use data systems effectively to monitor behaviour, engagement and progress.
- Coordinate awareness days and whole-school initiatives, embedding PSHE into everyday school life.
- Model the school's values, ensure safe and compliant learning environments, and uphold safeguarding procedures at all times.
- QTS or equivalent qualification
