Full Job Description
The SENAD Group provide specialist education, care and community support for the most complex, vulnerable and hard to place young people and adults. Our services work with people with autism, mild to severe learning difficulties, mental health and challenging behaviour. We operate schools, care homes and community support packages predominantly across the East and West Midlands area and North Wales.
In this varied role, you will play a key part in supporting the Property and Maintenance functions across all our services, in particular supporting the Group Manager in all aspects of buildings, property and maintenance administration. You will track building tasks, progress certifications, check and order stock, produce rotas, proofread documents and work closely with all site based maintenance teams, travelling to them if required to deliver stock or provide support.
In order to be successful you will have over 12 months previous experience in a busy office environment and ideally have an interest in or previous experience in a Facilities or Property Development team role. You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be computer literate within the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Outlook and Excel. A flexible approach to tasks and an ability to travel to SENAD locations is a must.
We are committed to safeguarding those in our care - the successful candidate will be required to apply for an enhanced DBS check and will be subject to thorough background checks including online searches.
Part time over 4 or 5 days per week (25 - 30 hours), generous annual leave, pension scheme, Employee Assistance Programme, free parking, staff discount scheme. Salary circa £30,000pa (for full time).
