Full Job Description
You'll take responsibility for the core financial administration of a residential property portfolio, including:
- Managing purchase and sales ledgers
- Processing supplier invoices and payments accurately and on time
- Performing regular bank reconciliations
- Allocating rent and reconciling landlord payments
- Supporting VAT preparation and month-end reporting
- Maintaining accurate financial records using Xero
- Managing utility accounts and supplier queries
- Providing general finance and administrative support to the wider team
You are organised, detail-focused, and confident in handling transactional finance tasks in a busy environment. You enjoy being trusted with responsibility and take pride in keeping things accurate and up to date., At least 1 year of practical finance experience (accounts assistant, finance assistant, or similar) - Experience with rent allocations, client accounts, or reconciliations
- Working knowledge of Xero or similar accounting software
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines
- A proactive, reliable, and team-oriented approach Desirable
- Previous experience within property management or real estate finance
- Exposure to VAT returns or month-end processes
- Experience handling supplier accounts or utilities
- Familiarity with residential lettings or landlord portfolios
- Interest in building a long-term career in property finance
