Full Job Description
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Property Compliance Administration Assistant to support the delivery of statutory property compliance across our housing portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in helping ensure our homes remain safe, compliant, and well-managed for our residents.
Working within the Property Compliance Team, you will provide administrative support across key compliance workstreams, helping to coordinate activities, maintain accurate records, support contractors, and contribute to the effective management of compliance information.
About the Role:
As a Property Compliance Administration Assistant, you will support the Council's delivery of statutory property compliance across six key areas:
-Gas Safety
-Electrical Safety
-Fire Safety
-Water Hygiene (Legionella)
-Asbestos Management
-Lifting Equipment (LOLER)
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, processing documentation, supporting audits, coordinating information, responding to enquiries, and helping ensure compliance activities are effectively monitored and recorded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support across all areas of property compliance.
- Maintain compliance records, databases and document management systems.
- Raise purchase orders and process invoices.
- Maintain contractor records, including insurance and accreditation documentation.
- Respond to enquiries from residents, contractors and colleagues.
- Organise meetings and distribute actions where required.
- Support compliance audits by providing relevant records and evidence.
- Assist in improving administrative processes and systems.
