Full Job Description
Commercial family working to create opportunities across the mid, large corporate space including multinational aspects. The role will require strong technical underwriting knowledge in the Property and Casualty lines of business, as you will be responsible for underwriting key accounts, driving intelligent new business growth and acting as a senior authority holder within the business. This is a hybrid position based out of our London office. Salary Information Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package. About You Acting as a Senior Authority holder focused on winning and retaining business of a large and complex natureProviding excellent service to our customersTo build and develop successful Broker relationshipsTo be visible in the local market, you will thrive on face to face contact with brokers and end customersTo develop business relationships with key clientsTo achieve agreed financial and
operational performance targetsTo collaborate strongly with other departments to achieve the Company's goals in respect of service delivery Essential Skills Outstanding technical underwriting skills in commercial property and casualty writing >£500k businessProven track record of dealing with large and/or complex risksCapable of leveraging data and analyticsStrong leadership capabilitiesExcellent trading skills and a confident negotiator. Proven experience in handling large cases.Strong ability to build, develop and maintain broker relationships.Achievement orientated, able to organise own workload to meet tight deadlines and with a positive attitude.A good team player. Supportive to others with an enthusiastic and positive attitude.Confident and engaging communication skills with the ability to challenge and influence others.ACII qualified or progression towardsFull working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
